American actress Elizabeth Kate was born in California and lived in both Los Angeles and San Francisco. Daughter of a popular broadcast journalist, Elizabeth grew up accustomed to the limelight and gravitated naturally to the performing arts. She attended Boston University and L'Université de Grenoble in Grenoble, France. A lover of languages and European culture, Elizabeth studied French, Russian, and Italian Languages and Literature as well as Drama, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University. After completing her degree, she studied Meisner Technique at Playhouse West in Los Angeles with Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. Elizabeth has traveled extensively and has had the absolute pleasure of working in film, television, and theatre both domestically in the United States, as well as abroad in Johannesburg, South Africa and London, England. She was awarded Best Supporting Actress at Theatre Palisades in Los Angeles for her performance in "Romantic Comedy" by Bernard Slade. Also a screenwriter, Elizabeth wrote and acted in the acclaimed short film, "Naiad: Las Ninas Del Agua", which was awarded for Excellence by the International Cinematographers' Guild (ICG) and screened at the Director's Guild in Hollywood, CA and at The Cannes International Film Festival. Elizabeth is now based in Los Angeles where she continues to act and write. She is represented for Film/Television by Aperture Talent Agency and by Michael Lewis and Associates for Screenwriting.
